Welcome to the Zeal Monachorum Community Web site!

Zeal Monachorum is a small village in Mid Devon that sits on top of a hill some 7 miles to the north of Dartmoor. With a population of about 400 it boasts a church, a pub, some pretty good views over Dartmoor and an excellent community spirit.






In order to contribute to this site and use the full range of facilities you will need to be registered. In order to be registered you will need to be on the Electoral Roll of the Parish or have a good reason for us to think you should be registered.

If you want to be registered and be able to contribute, add events to the calendar, put questions to the Parish Council, the Parochial Church Council, upload your pictures of the village or just air your point of view then please use the Contact us page and give us as much detail as possible.

However, even if you aren't registered there are lots of pages available, including a calendar of village events, some of which may interest you.

Note that this site is in the early stages of its development and some things may not work quite as they are supposed to. Please be patient.
